The Louisville-Nimishillen Historical Society (LNHS) was founded May 1, 2010 and is one of the youngest historical societies in Stark County. Our mission is to collect, preserve and share the history and heritage of Nimishillen Township and Louisville Ohio, and to educate and inform the area residents those others who have an interest. The Society strives to collect and protect written and published materials, photographs and any other media, be it audio or video, that is of historical or cultural value or significance, past and present.

Our current collection mainly consists of photographs and images and some published materials, along with some three-dimensional objects we have been able to collect during our relative short existence.

The Society presents educational programs of interest to its membership with an open invitation for everyone to attend these free events.
